What's a +2? I'm familiar with the +4, 4/4 and +8. The Moss Malvern
was sort-of Morganesque but not an accurate replica.

I thought the +2 was the standard Morgan 2 seater.

I remember Tiger racing taking over the Morgan replica company that
used to be at the Kitcar shows but they seem to have dumped it now and
I was looking for the company that bought it out.

The old GCS Hawke came in 2 models - a Sport and a +2. The +2 had more space
behind the front seats for a small occasional seat, so consequently the the
rear end was more steeply sloped to accommodate this extra passenger space.
I don't know if LC Developments offer the +2 option, but you could always
ask.

Try: ***@aol.com

Hope this helps.

The kit you probably remember is the GCS Hawke. It was then produced by
Tiger when GCS stopped trading, but it is now available as the LCD Hawke
from:

LC Developments
Jockey Garage
Usk Road
Pontypool
Gwent
NP4 0JB

Check the website at: http://www.lcdevelopments.com/

I made the original GCS Hawke just before they were bought out by Tiger.
I've now had it on the road for 4 years and I still run it all year round.

Did you put a V8 into it> If so was it a very tight fit?
Thanks

I put in a Pinto 2.0l, bored out to 2.1 by Vulcan Engineering.

f you want to view the build of a Tiger based Hawke with a V8, you should
visit:

And click on the Stephen Moore button to see his build notes.

Hi,
I bought the moulds to a Morgan 2+2 replica a little while back and am
developing a Sierra based chassis to go with it. If you are still after
something let me know and I will keep an eye out on here. We have a website
which is very out of date but you can contact Andy via the phone number on
www.caburn.demon.co.uk

Well that's a good choice of Donor.

The only ones left are COSSIES and most of those have been stolen 3 or
4 times.

How about basing it on something that can actually be found with
working engine, trans and rear suspension.
